The oldest musical traditions of Latin America are those interpreted by the indian population extended throughout the modern nations currently known as Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.
When the Spaniards arrived at the begining of the 16th century they found a population ruled by the Inca empire, one of the most important civilizations in the Americas. The music and the crafts of this part of the world is very well known in different places.

At present the good qualities of the Inca Empire remain alive in the musical tradition with some variations from region to region, such as rhythm or dialects of the songs.
AMERICAMANTA is an indigenuos organization from Otavalo-Ecuador dedicated to share our native culture with the world with our music and hand made crafts for the past 20 years in South America, Europe and during the past 15 years in USA. The instruments we use are hand made in wood or bamboo and our crafts are made with the finest wool, wood and bamboo.

In the world of different types of music over time the music performed with acoustic traditional instruments are popular for its easy listening and relaxing atmosphere.
